The base of this fabric is natural colored, with a black yarn running 1/8" apart, in the vertical, creating a pinstripe effect. The selvedge borders with Jamdani detail are what make this fabric special: one border has a pink selvedge with blue, yellow & green jamdani details; the opposite border is blue, with blue & pink jamdani weavings

What is jamdani? This weft technique uses individual spools of thicker thread, interlaced by hand with fine bamboo sticks, to form designs inspired by nature and geometry.

This sheer, lightweight fabric is handwoven by artisans in India on small looms. Khadi cotton is hand-spun and handwoven, giving it a raw, textured feel. Slight imperfections are part of the beauty of this fabric
