Request a Swatch
Touch it before you commit. That's the whole point.
Natural fibers live and die by hand feel, and a photo only tells you so much. Our swatch service lets you order physical samples of any fabric in our collection before buying yardage — shipped right to your door for a flat $5.
How it works
1. Browse and add as you go
You'll see a "Request Swatch" button on every fabric listing — both on the shop browse pages and on individual product pages. (Swatches aren't available for patterns or notions, just fabrics.)
Tap the button on anything that catches your eye. You can add up to 5 fabrics per order.
2. Your swatch tray keeps track
As you add fabrics, a swatch tray slides out on the right side of the screen showing everything you've selected. It tucks away automatically so it's not in the way, but you can pull it back out anytime using the tab on the edge. You'll see a count on the tab so you always know where you're at.
From the tray you can review your selections and remove anything before you check out.
3. Check out when you're ready
When you're happy with your picks, hit "Request Swatches — $5.00" in the tray. This adds your swatch order to your cart. From there, check out like any other order.
The flat $5 covers everything — up to 5 swatches plus shipping. No per-swatch pricing, no minimums.
A few good-to-knows
- Up to 5 fabrics per order. Once you've added 5, the swatch buttons disable until you remove something from your tray.
- $5 flat, shipping included. It's the same price whether you order 1 swatch or 5.
- Your selections are saved as you browse. If you navigate around the shop, your tray will remember what you added.
- Swatches are cut samples, typically a few inches square — enough to feel the weight, weave, and drape and check it against your project.
- Processing time is usually 1–3 business days, then standard shipping from Santa Rosa.
Then what?
Once your swatches arrive, you'll have a much better sense of what you're working with. When you're ready to buy yardage, just come back to the product page and order as much as you need.
