Handloom Ikat, Smudged Crosses, Black/White

This lightweight ikat is woven with shades of black & off-white in the warp and the weft, creating free form crosses of off-white on a black ground. It has a smooth hand and is semi-sheer.  It would be great for tops, lined dresses and skirts, and more.

Ikats are handwoven, yarn dyed fabrics that have a soft hand and light drape. The special nature of these fabrics is due to the multi colored warp yarns used to create the designs. Because ikats are made by hand, there may be some slight variation in the pattern.
