Class: Re-fashioning Knits and T-shirts
Do you have a pile of stained but sentimental t-shirts or holey knitwear sitting around?
Let’s reinvent them together! This creative class will demonstrate multiple techniques to
keep these pieces out of the landfill.
Topics include – Applique and Reverse Applique, Free Motion Sewing, Embellished Stenciling, and Reuse Ideas
Skill Level: Advanced Beginner, Intermediate
Ages 18+
Supplies (Not included in the cost of the class):
- Optional Knit Fabric Scraps3-5 Knit Garments to refashion and experiment with
- Thread to match
- Stretch machine needles
- Darning foot/free motion foot
- Scissors
- Stabilizer
- Decorative/embroidery/sashiko thread
- Seam Ripper
- Measuring Tape/Ruler
- Pins
- Chalk/Fabric Marker
Equipment: Sewing machine & machine manual (Sewing machines are available to rent while in class for $10)

This class requires a minimum of 3 participants. The class may be subject to cancellation if the minimum enrollment is not achieved.
