Class: Pie Tote

Learn to sew a festive, reusable pie tote that’s perfect for transporting holiday pies, casseroles and baked treats in style. In this beginner-friendly class, you’ll learn basic sewing techniques while making a practical project that’s great for holiday gatherings or gift-giving. You’ll leave with a finished pie tote and the skills to make more for friends and family.

Finished dimensions: 15” square pie tote, fitting a 12” round dish, up to 5” tall

Supplies (Not included in the cost of the class):

• Fabric:
  • 0.5 yards of medium weight fabric for the exterior
  • 0.5 yards of medium weight fabric for the interior
  • 0.5 yards of lightweight fusible interfacing
• Thread to match
• Sewing machine needle 
• Fabric scissors 
• Seam ripper 
• Measuring tape 
• Pins
• Tailor’s chalk (contrasting to fabric color) 

Equipment: Sewing machine & machine manual (Sewing machines are available to rent while in class for $10)
