Class: Advanced Beginner - Lodo Dress

In this class you will sew a simple knit dress with woven binding. This is a two-session course.   Note: This class will require pre-work to complete the finished garment within the two class sessions

Bust/Hip measurement combos 32”/34” to 44.5/46.5", physical pattern available in shop

Skill Level: Advanced Beginner 

Building on basic skills. Must have taken True Beginner or know how to thread a machine & sew a simple project on your own. 

Ages 16+ 

Supplies (Not included in the cost of the class)

• Lodo Dress, by True Bias
• Fabric for Dress: Medium weight knit (200-320 gsm) with approximately 25% stretch  - Wash and dry your fabric before class

• Fabric for Facing: 1/2 yd of medium weight woven fabric such as quilting cotton or linen
• Thread to match 
• Machine Needle for knit fabric
• Fabric Scissors 
• Paper scissors 
• Zig zag scissors -  to neaten seam allowance edge
• Seam Ripper 
• Measuring tape 
• Pins 
• Tailor’s chalk or fabric marking pen (contrasting to fabric color) 

Equipment: Sewing machine & machine manual (Sewing machines are available to rent while in class for $10)
