Class: Clone Your Clothes Series
Learn to make a pattern from your favorite piece of clothing. During this three session course you will learn techniques for making a pattern from an existing piece of
clothing, and how to sew the new garment from your custom pattern. The garment you
bring to class should be unlined, made of woven fabric, and freshly laundered.
Appropriate garments include simple blouses, shirts, tops, skirts, dresses, and pants.
Please no outerwear, coats, formal wear, underwear, or stretchy knit garments.
Skill Level: Advanced Beginner/Intermediate
You should have prior experience sewing basic clothing using a sewing pattern.
Ages: 16+
Supplies (Not included in the cost of the class)

Muslin or plain woven fabric to make your sample garment (we will determine the
yardage during the first class meeting) -

Brightly colored thread (red/orange/yellow)

Universal type sewing machine needles size 75/11 or 90/14

Straight ruler, at least 12 inches

Equipment: Sewing machine & machine manual (Sewing machines are available to rent while in class for $10)

Be prepared - Class supplies are available for purchase at Fiber Snob in person or online. Please note that our store hours are Tuesday-Sunday, 11am-5pm
This class requires a minimum of 4 participants. The class may be subject to cancellation if the minimum enrollment is not achieved.
