Class: Advanced Beginner - Lounge Pant 

In this class you will complete a pair of lounge pants with an elastic waist, in a woven  fabric. This is a two-session course.  

Skill Level: Advanced Beginner 

Building on basic skills. Must have taken True Beginner or know how to thread a machine & sew simple project. 

Ages 18+ 

Supplies (Not included in the cost of the class) 

• Eastwood Pajama Pattern, by Thread Theory 

• Quilting cotton, flannel, or suitable woven fabric - Wash and dry your fabric before  class 

o XS-L: 3yds = 45” wide or 2yds = 60” 

o XL-4XL: 3.25yds = 45” wide or 2.5yds = 60”

• 1.5 inch non-roll elastic – for length, see elastic chart on pattern 

• Thread to match 

• Machine Needle 

• Fabric Scissors 

• Paper scissors 

• Zig zag scissors -  to neaten seam allowance edge

• Seam Ripper 

• Measuring tape 

• Pins 

• Tailor’s chalk (contrasting to fabric color) 

Equipment: Sewing machine & machine manual (Sewing machines are available to rent while in class for $10)
